They really need to remaster the BOTHERS IN ARMS series.

We all know the games had impact, because when we all froze once they died... We stared at Desola's mangled corpse. We stared at Leggett's burst stomach. We stared at Allan and Garnett bleeding on the ground. We stared at Doyle being blown to pieces. We stared at Paige's chest pierced and his mouth bleeding. And the worst part? We still wondered if we could have saved them... If by a miracle, by a chance, by a different choice... At least one of them could go back home. We fall and rise many times. They fall only once...

I was sad to all deaths, Legget's death really was the last straw, i was both crying and mad when encountering the Krauts while trying get the Shermans

They do an incredible job of making the deaths disturbing, and really show the scope of the war that movies have a hard time recreating .

Losing Risner was painful, and losing Allen and Garnett was devastating. When Baker yelled to himself from the next monologue, I felt the same: those last two would’ve been alive if they had just stayed with me.

Doyle’s death practically traumatized me as a kid. The way he just explodes into a red mist with only his helmet and rifle left. That was rough on my nine year old mind

Wait how come in the older version of brothers in arms the Germans have a Panzer 4 E instead of a H,G,J versions

What I like about how they handle death in this game is honestly not poetic, not a last stand type of death (not sure about Leggett's death), no last minute speech about fighting a good fight or nothing. Just a sudden explosion or a bullet ending it all. That's just war.

Doyle's death always got to me. He was a cool guy, saved Red's life, and Red went into to Hell to try and save him but he was killed to suddenly, messily, and violently. There was absolutely nothing to do, and absolutely nothing left of him. And going in to that town got Paige killed too. Brutal.

Band of brothers, brothers in arms.

People loved to trash on these games back then. But, these games didn't show any glory. No awesome battles. No heroic sacrifices. Just violent sudden or slow deaths.

I do feel like Red and maybe even Corrion not being in the potential sequel is a slightly bad move. Friar and Marsh I could deal with. Franky wasn't a longstanding character But Red and Corrion feel like the 2 biggest characters in the series after Baker.... you even play as Red. Paddocks character is somewhat fleshed out. Zanovich, Mccreary, Courtland etc are cool and from the first game. But I feel like the game will be missing something without Red and Corrion

A couple of inaccuracies. 1. Bond knocked out the guard on the toilet. He didn't KILL him. Also, Trevelyn shot the scientist, NOT Bond. Otherwise, good so far.

What’s more saddening is that Obrieski’s girlfriend is probably crying right about after the news got to the states, it’s was unaware for them to notice the sniper, it shock me when I first played of how he died like no heroic action or heroic moment just died like that.

Baker had balls just standing there when Obi got shot on top of the church.

man, desolas death really wrecked me as a kid, I still remember getting glassy eyed and crying during that mission. seeing one of my boys tore up like that was like a punch in the gut.
